Here at our lifestyle centrum in Ladismith things are happening. There are so much interest in our health products that the current shop was getting too small. Luckily there was  space available for a bigger shop. Before it served as the workshop, but that has moved to David's house, seeing that he is our Handyman. Our building, like most of the buildings here in our town, is very old and built with clay bricks. Needless to say, there were quite a few cracks and holes to be filled up. This took time because as the filler dried, it shrunk and had to be filled all over again. On the photo you can see David, on the left and Danie busy repairing the walls. Once that was done, the old paint could be scraped off and the new paint applied. Once this was done, the wooden floors and the shelves needed to be installed and there you have it, a brand new shop.

There were many people who lend an arm (too many to name) - the youth helped to transport and clean the shelves, Peter and Ilze fitted and adjusted to make the best of the available space. Nahm and Charl counted stock until they felt like stock themselves and packed all the new stock.

Charmaine and Arthur designed and created a lovely garden and whispers about an approaching tea-garden is getting louder...

Klou vas!
Hang on, young people! The youth helped transporting the shelves.

See, there are the plastic bags and these buttons you press for sales... Charl explains how things work.
Thanks to all that helped (those who are named here and those that are not) - it is appreciated.
