One year Eden tv Network!
All thanks to God, who made the Eden Network possible. On 00H00 1November 2009 we went live.
We had a lovely celebration to honour and thank our God and Saviour for all He has done for us through the year, and prayed for guidance and protection for the future.
We would also like to use this oppertunity to thank all of our supporters for your prayers, love, contributions and help.
Without money or equipment the dream started to take form, but Reinhardt Stander, Renier Horn, Mark Woodman and Marius Odendaal went forth in faith und under strong guidance of the Holy Spirit with the planning and after a lot of prayer en talks God opened the way.
With only two good camera's and a bit of sound equipment and a bit of recorded material that we obtained permission to broadcast, we started eagerly to prepare and record.
To fill up the 24 hours of a tv-channel with good, Scripture-based content is no easy feat and we felt this sorely.
Many miracles and much prayer, planning and recording brought us to the one-year mark of being on the air and we look back, astonished - not only did we learn about this highly technical field in leaps and bounds, but we also grew in faith, numbers and experience.
If we carry only one lesson over to next year, it should be this:
Our Heavenly Father is in charge and, if we are humble and willing, He will use us in His work, blessing us in the process.
